Washington, DC. March, 2006 - Twenty employees
from Mooring Financial Corporation participated in a build day
to support Habitat for Humanity’s mission of building a 53-home
development in Northeast Washington, DC. Habitat for Humanity
DC seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness in the
nation's capital by building affordable, energy efficient
homes.
Mooring Financial Corporation employees
exhibited great teamwork as they broke up into smaller groups
led by Habitat coordinators. They strapped on their loaded tool
belts, safety glasses and gloves to assist with various stages
of construction: sheathing, Tyveking, trenching, insulating,
wood-working, truss-raising, carpentry and roofing. In conjunction
with this event, Mooring Financial Corporation donated $5,000 to
Habitat for Humanity DC.

Mooring Financial Corporation actively
supports giving back to the community and under the direction of
John M. Jacquemin has a long history of corporate giving. Mooring
employees will participate in another whole day of building in
September 2006.
